1. The sellers should provide the installation guidance with the corresponding drawings after signing the contract. The buyers should be responsible for the basic construction, making sure of the depths of the substrates while putting the local geological condition into consideration. The positions of the embedment parts and all the measurements must be restricted absolutely including the levelness of the substrates. The buyers should send the experts on spot to install the drying and electrical equipments.

2. The buyers should carefully check the quality and quantity of the goods and the spare parts according to the detailed lists provided by the sellers after receiving the cargo. If the buyers find the waste or any disqualified, they should inform the sellers immediately. If the whole set of equipment and its quality comply with the stipulations of the contract, the buyers should inform the sellers of sending the experts for the installation.

3. The assignments of the installations:

a. the sellers are responsible for the installation of the feed water pipeline form the boiler house to the drying room while the returned water pipelines from the drying equipment room are installed by the buyers. Other sections of pipelines are for the sellers.

b.The buyers are responsible for the electrical wires from the control cabinet to the main switches and the installation of the lights of the control room while the electrical equipments are being installed.

c.Those who are in charge of the installations of the concrete pipelines are responsible for all the materials necessary.

d.During the installations, the buyers should make sure of the supplies of the conveyances, water, gas, electricity and all the tools they need and the assistance necessary including the workers and technicians.

Technical Requirements for the Installation of the Wood Drying Equipments 

a. Before the installation, the operators should check whether the sizes of the substrates and the levelness of the embedment parts conform with the requirements of the construction drawings. When the larger errors emerge and really impact the installations, the solutions must be negotiated solved by both sides.

b. The differences of the length, width and height of the drying kiln are less than the stipulated measurement of ±0.5% more or less.

c. The joints of the inner plates of the kiln must sealed with the sealant without the leakages from the joints absolutely.

d. All the bolts must be fixed tightly without missing parts.

e. All the glass fibre wool must be fully filled.

f. The system of the pipelines should be installed in horizontal and straight way and well sealed without the gas and water leakages.

g. The installation of the motors is requested to be fixed tightly and the gaps between the blades of the air blowers and the air-in tube should be less than 2mm. There is no noise under the operation of the fan.

h. The gaps of the gate should be sealed fully when the gate falls into the frame. Opening or closing tightly.

i. The humidity removal tubes should be placed at a high position and open and close synchronously.

j. The installation of the test door should be well sealed with opening and closing reliably and safely. The door should be locked and unlocked easily.

k. The electrical equipments should be installed correctively and reliably and the electric lines inside the kiln should be used with the high voltage wires.


The debugging is proceeding under the operation of no-load circumstance and executed jointly by the experts from the manufacture and the users’ operators present as well as the acceptance group composed of the inspection section and managing department.
Before testing, first confirming that the installations of the equipments and electrical equipments in the drying room should be in accord with technique requirements and continue.
Air blower debugging: start the fan and observe the operating circumstance, which should be steady and there is no obvious vibrating noises. The corotation and the reversal should be tested about ten minutes each and then restart all the fans under operating continuously for four hours, meanwhile watch any obvious changes happen before starting debugging. Once the motors stop,
check the temperature of the outer shells which temperature should be not more than 60 degree centigrade.
Debug the System of the Heater and Pipeline: open the valve of the heater pipeline and check there should be no leakages of water and gas at the joints between the valve and the flange, joints between the heater and the flange, joints between the water pipe and the flange, joints between the filter and the flange, joints between the tween pipeline and the flange and the welding points and also check whether there is the flexibility and reliability of the valves opening and closing, the heater is well assigned and the indicator of the pressure gauge is normal.
Spraying and Steaming Pipeline Test: check whether there are the leakages of water and gas at the the valves, their joints with the pipeline and the flanges and whether all the nozzles on the spraying and steaming pipelines are normally working when open the spraying and steaming valves.
Timber Stack Loads: When open the heating system, the gate and the test door should be sealed and the gate should be lifted flexibly, the hanger should move smoothly and easily.
Humidity Removal Device Test: to transmit the power to the humidity removal performer and observe whether the pulling stem of the humidity removal tube works smoothly and is stuck , Every humidity removal tube should open and close synchronously.
Electrical System Test: before the transmission of electricity, examine the quality of the electrical Installations and check whether all the electricity connects and the touching points are right and tightened including the wire connecting to the ground. Then to test the electricity resistance value of the live parts of the main circuit and the control circuit to the ground with the megameter(tramegger ) of 500v, generally it is more than 1.5 teraohm.. Then to begin the transmission of the electricity to test, first operate by hand and then transmit automatically. To test the air blower before test the heater and the spraying steaming, afterwards examine the temperature and the humidity and the moisture of the timber. It should be the instructions unobstructed and the accurate performance and precise without error, safe and reliable.

Common Sense of Use 

1. Pile up of timber stack:operating referring to the stipulations of the technique procedure of the the wood drying kiln. As requested, the direction of the timber length forms vertical with the direction of the air moving inside the kiln, placed by layers. 3.Drying time:It related to the varieties of trees, thickness, width, wind speed in the kiln, softness of the standard, initial moisture content, final initial moisture content and the length of the scarp.


The correct using and maintenance, which could keep the drying kiln operating in the best way, giving full play to the good characteristic and the best operating status, improve the quality of timber drying, and extend working life of the drying kiln.

•  Checking up before operating each time

a.To find out if there is any broken on the housing, the favorable of sealing for the gate and text door.

b. Check the stable and the sound of the fan.

c.Check the valve of heating and steaming system, the switch of electric operator, and prohibit the phenomenon of air leakage.

d.If there's any loose or drop of each component's wiring in electric cabinet,check the condition of the indicator light, switch, press-button.

e. Ensure the pressure gauge point during 0.3~0.6Mpa.

No-load operation

Close the working gate and the valve of vents,open the inlet valve of heater, start the fan to heat the housing and the equipment inside, to prevent the condensate water stick to the housing and the equipment during the beginning of drying kiln, which could avoid the temperature rising up during the working time of on-load operation.

On-load operation

After putting the material in the kiln, close the working gate, text gate and the vents, checking the drain-pipe that must be clean up if there's any blocking. Then start the fan, open the heating valve, then open the steam valve ten minutes later, preheat the timber inside the kiln and drying according to the drying standard.


1.For operating

а. For operating a.Observing the condition of control instrument seriously, exclude the abnormal phenomenon as it appeared.

b.Pay attention to the sound of fan, any abnormal condition should stop immediately, and start it again as the abnormal excluded.

c.Check the heating and steaming system repeatedly, any air leakage or act up of steam trap, valve, ect., should repaired immediately.

d. Add lubricant to the motor bearings and valve equipments of fan regularly.

2. Maintenance after going down

а. Sweep the floor in time after the timber out of the kiln, check if the housing is broken, if the fastener is loose or drop, each could be repaired in time.

b.Keep in good condition of the locking and sealing for the working gate and hinges of the text door. Repairing and changing the seal tube as it damaged, drop or aging.

c.The heater and the flanges couldn't be leak, or repair it in time. If the pipeline was seriously rusted, it should be painted antirust coating after get rid of the rust.

d. After using the steam spray pipe for a long time, its working hole would blocking by the scale and dirt, and eliminate it in time. If there's long time working of the steam injection hole,change the old pipes to new when the steam nonuniform because of the corrosion aperture increase.

e. Check the bars movement of the exhausting valve,clean the dirt and add lubricant on the moving joint if it not work.

3. Periodicity maintenance

а. Change the hyperthermia lubricant of provisions grades according to the specification for fan and electronic machine.

b. Maintain the electric actuator and magnetic valve etc., according to the specification.

c.Printing the antirust paint on the steel equipment outside the kiln after clean the rust for 3~6 months.
